The Caribbean islands made their presence felt at the latest edition of the International Tourism Fair of Latin America (FIT), held from September 30 to October 3 at the Rural de Palermo. EM Marketing & Communication, as an allied member of the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO), accompanied Antigua and Barbuda, the Cayman Islands, and Curaçao at the fair.

At the CTO booth, the communication agency welcomed more than a hundred agencies interested in promoting the destinations, and significant media outlets approached to learn more about the islands. “We had conversations with various media outlets and held numerous meetings with leading luxury travel operators and agencies, including Virtuoso, as well as advisors from the luxury travel segment in Argentina, Colombia, Uruguay, and Chile,” said Elsa Petersen, CEO of EM.

On October 2, Petersen gave a presentation for CTO to a full audience at the Incatur auditorium on the premises, providing insights into the islands.

It is worth noting that EM Marketing & Communication was responsible for coordinating the actions of the islands, as well as handling press and publicity work.
