The twin islands of the Caribbean will celebrate a new edition of the Charter Yacht Show from December 4 to 9, 2023, in Antigua.

This unmissable event for professionals in the nautical industry promises an unforgettable experience that includes exhibitions of luxury yachts, networking opportunities, and a celebration of everything related to navigation.

“We are proud and excited to welcome you once again to the beautiful shores of Antigua for what is already shaping up to be a great edition of the Antigua Yacht Show. Our team wants to ensure that networking at our event is a truly memorable, positive, and successful experience for all our guests,” says the organization.

The Charter Yacht Show was born in 1961, and each year its celebration marks the beginning of the sailing season in the Caribbean, bringing together brokers, crews, vendors, and specialized press.

In each edition, the world’s best yachts are presented: around sixty vessels ranging from 50 to 231 feet or more. The exhibition also includes motor yachts, sailing yachts, and multihulls displayed around the historic Nelson’s Dockyard in Antigua, attracting nautical enthusiasts from North America, Europe, and the Caribbean islands.

For several years, the event has supported different charitable organizations through donations from organizers and attendees.

The event features space for entertainment and social gatherings. Among the highlights is the themed culinary competition “Concours de Chef,” showcasing culinary skills and table design by different crews.

This year, the competition will focus on international cuisine, with an emphasis on sustainable products. “As yacht chefs, participants maintain a nomadic lifestyle that allows them to experience and immerse themselves in new cultures, cuisines, and ingredients from the countries they visit on their travels. In the competition menu, we want them to share innovative creations based on their international experience. The use of sustainable products is an aspect that has a positive impact on our planet, and we want its use to be highlighted in their creations,” explain the organizers.

The goal of the competition is to showcase the incredible teams on the boats participating in the exhibition, giving them visibility and possibly increasing their bookings.
